Compound nouns

Compound nouns are nouns that are made of two or more words, but we will be talking about two-word compound nouns here. Usually, when we connect two words into one, third word, that word usually gets a new meaning, a meaning combined from the meaning of the two words we used. Let’s look at some examples – blackboard, sunshine, or jellyfish. These are all types of compounds.
